  1.                  Essay In National Examination

The news about 2018 National Examination for student in Elementary school, Junior "High School and also Senior High School attract attention of many people in Indonesia. Most people consider it as a "disaster" For the student as it is more difficult for them to answer the items in the test. I think it is not only a disaster for the student, but also for the teacher.

Firstly, essay type of test is inefficient to be conducted globally. Srudent From various places may have different ability in explaining their answer for the test items. In order to conduct this type of evalurion the teacher or the test maker need to provide some possible answer that may occur during the test which make it inefficient compare to multiple choice Hems.

Secondly, essay type of lest belongs to subjective test the teacher or wherever checks the student answer will Find difficulties in deciding whether the answer is correct or wrong, because they will involve their personal judgement toward each answer.

The last student will Face more pressure before, during, and after the test if the form Of the test is in essay from because they will not be able to make the answer based on prediction when they didn't know the for an item. If the test items are in the form of multiple choice, I believe the student will be atease to undergo the test because they still have a chance to gain points even if they do not know the answer for some questions by choosing one of four possible answer.

From my explanation above, it is clear that National Examination in the form of essay will be a problem for both students and the teachers.

2.                  Should College Education be Free

College education should be free for all students. Education is a basic right, and no one should be deprived of it just because they can't afford it. Education is the key to success and prosperity, and making it accessible to all will lead to a better society. Additionally, countries that provide free college education have higher rates of college graduates and a more educated workforce, which in turn leads to economic growth.

Furthermore, providing free college education will reduce the burden of student debt. Many students graduate from college with significant debt, which can take years to pay off. This debt can limit their career choices and delay their ability to start a family or purchase a home. By providing free college education, students can focus on their studies without worrying about the financial burden.

Opponents of free college education argue that it would be too expensive for the government to provide. However, investing in education is an investment in the future of the country. The benefits of a more educated population will outweigh the costs in the long run. Additionally, the government can fund free college education by reducing spending on unnecessary programs or by increasing taxes on the wealthy.

In conclusion, college education should be free for all students. Education is a right, not a privilege, and it is essential for personal and societal growth. By providing free college education, we can ensure that all students have an equal opportunity to succeed, regardless of their financial background.
